My book review of 'Snail in Space' by Rachel Bright and illustrated by Nadia Shireen
This picture book is aimed at very young children - and it's hilarious!
Gail the Snail has always been told to rein in her big aims and ambitions, and perhaps toe the line a little more often. But she likes to do her own thing, and she's got big dreams! She wants to be the first snail in space!
In bright colours and bold illustrations with fun and silly rhymes we learn of Gail's efforts to realise her ambition. Will she make it?
This is a joyous story about persevering, overcoming obstacles and being the person, or snail, you want to be. Loved it!
