The Umbrella Mouse to the Rescue
by Anna Fargher and and Sam Usher

The sequel to 'The Umbrella Mouse' sees the orphaned young mouse, Pip Hanway still in France continuing to fight for the French Resistance group Noah's Ark.

This secret gang of animals aims to liberate France and secure the victory of Allies. And Pip is still determined to reach the Umbrella Museum in Italy to meet her distant relatives and gain a new home.

The journey through occupied territory is dangerous with a new threat round every corner and suspicions abound in deciding who is friend and who is foe.

It's a fabulous adventure story, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat and breathless with each turn of the page. It doesn't shirk from difficult subjects with death and injury and betrayal all covered, sometimes very difficult to absorb. But there are also great incidents of courage and friendship, and the ending brought a tear to this reader's eye!
