My book review of 'Rosie Revere, Engineer' by Andrea Beaty and David Roberts
This is about being whatever you want to be, overcoming the obstacles and aiming for the sky!
Rosie Revere is an inventor, cheered on by her great-great-aunt. When her flying machine crashes to the ground, Rosie is despondent. But it's not a failure, her aunt tells her. You only fail if you give up. So Rosie takes her new idea to her classmates and the fun begins.
It is a picture book, aimed at 5-7-year-olds, but it will appeal to any age group, bringing a smile to your face, a lightness to your heart, and hope for the future.
There are other books in this collection - 'Iggy Peck, Architect' and 'Ada Twist, Scientist' - as well as accompanying activity books.
