My book review of 'The Time-travelling Caveman' by Terry Pratchett
Funny, quirky and inventive, just as you'd expect, these stories were written when Pratchett was a junior reporter on local newspapers.
It will delight all ages, particularly 7 to 11-year-olds.
There are wonderful illustrations on every page with some stories quite short, others a little longer.
Fabulous characters include the time-travelling caveman, Professor Whelk shooting to the stars in his rocket, the invincible pioneering computer Mark One, as well as toads, wizards, knights and a talking horse.
A brilliant collection which will have every reader chuckling. The writing isn't challenging but the ideas, characters and settings are sure to spark the imagination for everyone picking up this beauifully presented book.
