An evening with Elly Griffiths

Friday 27th March 2015, 7.30pm
Venue: Abbey School Hall
Tickets: £6 with glass of wine

Elly Griffiths is a hugely entertaining speaker who has you in stitches, belying any preconceptions about an introspective, dark and moody nature of crime writers.

Her real name is Domenica De Rosa and she wrote women's fiction after leaving a career in publishing to have children - twins.

Conceiving a crime series about forensic archaeologist, Ruth Galloway based in Norfolk, after touring the county on family holidays with her newly qualified archaeologist husband, she was advised to write with a pseudonym and chose the name of her grannie.

This book is the seventh in the Ruth Galloway series, and Elly is also exploring new adventures with her wartime magicians in Brighton who were introduced in her recent novel 'The Zig Zag Girl'.

Elly is always great value as a fantastic speaker. She likes to speak to the audience directly and is both fascinating and hugely entertaining. It was lovely to have her back with us in Woodbridge, this time in a new venue for Browsers at the Abbey School Hall.
