Suspense in Suffolk - Event Report

Saskia Sarginson and Louise Millar have both set their gripping and haunting novels in Suffolk.

Saskia Sarginson has set her new novel 'Without You' in a fictional Suffolk coastal town. Telling the story of a family coming to terms with the disappearance, and presumed death, of a daughter in a sailing accident, this tale of mystery and suspense is underpinned by a vivid presentation of Orford.

Louise Millar has kept her Suffolk setting for 'The Hidden Girl' elusive. The reader is told that the young couple in the story have moved from London to a tiny village north of Woodbridge. Here they are renovating an eerie old house which seems to be the hub of some sinister occurrences.
