Meet the author Adam Henson
The popular tv presenter and farmer Adam Henson joined us in this special evening event at the Riverside, Woodbridge, to talk about 'Christmas on the Farm', his new book.
In conversation with Catherine Larner, Adam shared stories of Christmases past and present.
Adam has spent more than 50 years on the farm, first run by his father. The Cotswold Farm Park in Gloucestershire is known for its pioneering work in rare breed conservation.
Adam is known best as the presenter of BBC's Countryfile but regularly fronts many tv programmes about rural life and the natural world such as Lambing Live and Insight Out. He has written five books and contributes a monthly column to Cotswold Life magazine. All this while continuing to run the farm in Gloucestershire.
Adam introduced us to the ups and downs of a farmer's life, lunch with the Queen, starring in Mel Gibson's film Braveheart and much, much more.
Tickets to hear Adam Henson talk about 'Christmas on the Farm' were available from the Riverside, priced £25 and included a signed copy of 'Christmas on the Farm' (RRP £22.00) presented on the day. One further ticket could be purchased for £12 (without the book).
