Rob is reaching the end of his seven year term in prison, and he's on day release working in a charity shop in Brixton, London. It's tedious stuff but all he has to do is stay out of trouble and he can restart his life.

Then he's befriended by a young woman and things are looking great. He can't stop thinking about her and fears he'll frighten her away if she finds out about his past. Gradually though he realises she knows much more about him than she should, so what are her intentions?

This is an unusual setting but brilliantly executed. It felt like an authentic peek into prison life, while still at a distance. You're quickly rooting for Rob and desperate for things not to go wrong for him. But who is this woman? Of course he won't be able to stay away from her, but is she sinister or will they both come out of this situation the other side? An easy, interesting and entertaining read which leaves you pondering the experiences and futures for real-life Robs.
