My review:

I was told recently to try Will Dean. He is a crime writer that is fast attracting quite a following and this year released his sixth novel in the Tuva Moodyson Mysteries. So I thought I'd read the first one to see what I thought. And, yes, he's an interesting writer. Great descriptions, atmospheric location, and good characterisation. I wasn't so keen on the murders!

Tuva Moodyson is a deaf reporter on a small town local paper in Sweden, and she is eager to find the story which will make her career.

She starts to investigate an unsolved murder from 20 years previously, which has a rather gruesome signature to the killing.

Tuva has her own issues to face, of course, as she probes the community to get answers to the crime.

Very eery and tense. If you like Scandi-noir, this is for you!
